Nine of our members took part in the Karate BC Spring Championships after qualifying at the 2008 Karate BC Championship Eliminations.

As is always the case at the provincial championships, the competition was top-caliber and represented a fierce challenge to our members. Once again, our members were up to the challenge and brought home eight medals.

Also, one of our members was competing without knowing it. Todd Conrod is a "junior" judge and received a plaque for, "Best Rookie Judge" at the end of the tournament.
