Eight of our members took the trek north to Comox to participate in the 2007 Island Friendship Tournament held on May 12, 2007. As usual, the folks in Comox put on a great tournament, packed with lots of fun.

One of the "fun" events at Comox is the 1/2 ton tug-of-war and our club won this time around. Everyone participated, including kids and parents -- it was a blast! A nice trophy too.

While we always maintain that medals aren't everything, it's worth mentioning that every member came home with a medal in their hand. Even 3 year old Liam Cunningham won a medal in the "Fastest Fist" competition (another one of those "fun" events at Comox).
